Multi-resolution planning of urban transportation
Atlanta, GA, and other examples
To perform planning of transport projects and policies in cities, it is helpful to apply a specific resolution of data and models to different spatial analysis levels. In Atlanta, the macroscopic travel model which covers the entire metropolitan areas was linked with a microscopic simulation model for Atlanta's city centre.
