Planning of public transport
To plan for future service and infrastructure of public transportation, the planners need to consider demand, infrastructure, service and fleet requirements.
Travel demand needs to be understood understood over 24 hours to be able to determine fleet capacity for peak and off-peak. To predict the quantity of ridership on future lines, appropriate simulation models are needed.
MOVENTES combines experience from projects in Europe and Northamerica.
